School Picnic

The end of Little Lady's first school year was celebrated with a family picnic. All the families gathered at the school and brought a dish to share from their home country. We brought chocolate chip cookies and they were a huge hit. All the kids classes performed for the parents to the theme of around the world. LL's class celebrated Asia. They sang a cute song about monkeys and elephants. LL was too shy to perform and ended up sobbing on stage. She eventually ran over to me and watched the rest of the performance from my lap. When everyone was finished the kids ran around playing in the yard and the parents enjoyed talking and eating all of the delicious snacks. It was a lovely day and a great way to celebrate Little Lady's first school year.
