Kraków or bust

As soon as the Christmas pageant ended we loaded up the car and headed to Kraków. We were looking forward to the Christmas markets. We arrived at the hotel with no problems. Then headed out. The main square was beautiful. The stalls were nice and we found some great new purchases. Little lady was a bit of a trip. She did not want to leave the hotel. She refused to get dressed.Pouted over every little thing and was just a bit of a pain. We managed but it was not the peaceful experience we had hoped for. We headed home after a few days and looked forward to Christmas coming soon.
PS: We are still getting used to the settings on the new camera and seem to have a flash problem. If we use it, it crashes the camera. SO we are working that one out or it will be going back after our next trip.
Enjoying the sunshine at the Castle

Chasing bubbles at night or well 5pm.

Showing off our hotel room. It was huge and they even had a bed for Little Lady

Hey Mom, check out these lights

The cloth hall. Market Square

Checking out some old sleighs

For some reason there were fireworks!

Christmas is a magical time

Check out the goat costume...the mouth moved like the goat was singing too.

Not impressed with Polish folk music

Oh you know a random protest against the government in the Square.
We tried to get away from the protest that we stumbled into but the crowds of people just kept streaming into the square from everywhere.

Up at the Castle

Once we could get back to the square. We found the bird guy. He was only there one day and for a few hours. He kept kissing the owl...it was a bit weird.

Little Lady got a turn to pet it.

Rare moment of joy from this girl on the trip.

Hot Chocolate as thick as melted candy bars. This girl was in heaven.

Chocolate is a very serious thing

Some market purchases of mine. A new table linen and some orange cinnamon potpourri
Little Lady's market purchase. A hello Kitty gingerbread cookie

Christmas pageant

Another holiday season is here and that means another preschool performance. Little Lady had been practicing her line as often as we could. She was a star this year and her line was "something amazing was happening in the night". In the beginning we would say it to her and she always responded with "butterflies". I tried to explain that it was Jesus but she was not convinced. Eventually she would say the line and not the butterflies part! On the day of the play we practiced a bit to much. She was so good at it that she said it super fast. It was great. She said it. In fact everyone in her class said their lines. They were adorable. I also love the fact that they did the true story of Christmas. A little nativity was a great show.

Our contribution to the snack table.

She was quickly becoming anxious as we waited for a few last minute cast members

All better.

Doing her Star song

Finally she got into it.

Santa stopped by for a visit and he called her name to come get a present
