Updated: 11/13/16: I added some new pictures of our current progress to this old post. New windows, door, roof are done. Kitchen wall removal is on going. Painting is almost complete, and the basement floor is more than half done.
messes, messes everywhere. That is the key to this story. So far we have been busy trying to get everything done but at the same time we can only do so much until the windows, roof, door go in and the wall comes out. Good news about that though it looks like Tuesday is the day. All contractors are expected at the house and some construction materials have been dropped off already. Woohoo!

Lets start with the outside. The plan is to get new windows, roof, front door. Trees and other landscaping has been trimmed back. New fence probably in the spring. For now getting it ready for a birthday puppy for little lady. Also in the spring new walkway to the front and back of the house, flowers, and just general spruce up.

Ok now on to the inside. This is still a major work in progress. Ripping up the carpeting, taking down a wall, repainting everything, resurfacing the fire place. Wow are we ambitious.

Apparently I need to take an updated office picture. The floor is finished and it has a new window. Now to paint it.
Well that is it for now. Yes doing all of this with our lovely Little Lady at home is making it take longer. More annoying is that most of our tools are still in storage and so we have to buy new or do without. Soon we will get it all done. Soon.
