Puddles and Pumpkins

What a day. Not the most glorious day for the pumpkin patch but nothing screams fall like cool temps, cold rain, falling leaves, and pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins. We had a great time. Little Lady was so excited to get pumpkins today. From the moment she woke up she kept asking if it was 10:30 (the time we were to be at the pumpkin patch). Eventually it was time and she was in heaven. She ran around collecting pumpkins. When she finished finding the perfect pumpkin, or 7, it was time to jump in all the puddles. Once we were good and soaking wet from the puddles, we visited with the animals. We were even lucky enough to feed the one month old cow. Once Little Lady became cold her attitude plummeted and she was miserable to be around. We paid for our pumpkins and headed back to the house. We enjoyed some lunch and hot chocolate while watching A Bugs Life. We then did some fall painting, made brownies, and even S's favorite Corn Chowder! It was a wonderful day after all.
