Pole Mokotowski
SO many parks and so little time. This time we hopped on the Metro and headed to Pole Mokotowski. This park is huge. The playground was a bit out dated and many paths were a bit run down but we loved all the green space. We took our friends Emy and Pao along with us to explore. The girls had a blast looking for and feeding ducks, climbing trees, running in the grass and of course enjoying some lody. It was a great day spent in yet another great park in Warsaw. Even if the sunbathers left little to the imagination.

Another day, another park
It seems like there are a million parks in Warsaw. We have had such fun finding them. This one is called Stefana Zeromskiego and of my personal favorites. Not because it is anything spectacular. In fact it is the hard plastic play equipment like we have at home. However I love it because Little Lady can do everything. I do not have to help her. I was able to just sit back and relax while she ran around with her friends. Also it is a large playground. It didn't matter that there were tons of kids. Everyone had something to do and could run around and not be constantly knocking into someone. We will definitely be back. Also just outside the park is a bakery, burger place, and a kebab place. We were able to have lunch and then return to the park for even more fun.

Parks in Warsaw
One thing we love about being in Warsaw is that there is plenty to do with kids. There are incredible parks everywhere. Some have playgrounds, some don't. There are plenty of indoor play areas as well. Restaurants even have play areas and staff that are there is watch and entertain your kids while you eat! Now we have not been out to eat much but this is pretty awesome and takes some of our excuses away for why we don't get out much. Back in September Little Lady and I visited the park that is near the embassy. It was gorgeous. Plenty of beautiful flowers, a decent playground, large pond with ducks to visit, and a gazebo to enjoy the view in. We strolled around the pond, soaking in the sunshine and fall colors and then met up with S for some lunch and a tour of the embassy. It was our first time riding the bus or visiting the city at all so it was a great day out.

Later in the month we tried a different playground somewhat near our house. It was located by a large church and had great gardens all around. I will call it the space playground until I find out what others call it. It had a space theme on the ground so it makes sense. There was a fenced in area for the small kids and another fenced in area for the bigger kids. This bigger kid area had a large tower to climb and then slide down slides on various levels. It also had a spinning wheel, climbing structure, and a few other fun things. The little kids area had a sand pit to play in, and play structure. I was most impressed by the gardens to walk through and there was even a ropes course in the trees for even bigger kids. How cool is that?

Then, a few weeks ago...ok a month ago...We had probably our last semi decent day to go to the playground. We went to a new one with some of our playgroup friends. The Dinosaur Park as everyone calls it is great. There is a separate fenced in area for the little ones inside of the main fenced in park. Plenty of great things to climb on and even a small zip line! All of which resonate with the dinosaur theme. Little Lady had a blast and we will definitely be going back when it warms up a bit...or the sun shines again. I am very excited to get back to warmer weather and spent plenty of time exploring the beautiful parks of this city.
